Zarui Vardanean established herself as a leading artist at the National Opera and the Ballet Theater Republic of Moldova and as an adjunct faculty member of Opera and Voice at the Academy of  Music of the Republic of Moldova. Also, she was a welcome guest artist at the  National Opera Bucharest, Manchester Opera House, Dublin National Concert Hall, The Romanian Athenaeum, Edinburgh Playhouse,  Coliseum de Lisbon, and the famous Royal Albert Hall.
Her performance of Bizet's Carmen with Opera & Ballet International Company in the UK  led one critic to write, "Yet it is Zarui Vardanean's Mezzo-soprano voice and perfect dark gypsy beauty, combined with the rare ability for an opera star to act, which will live long in the memory. Vardanean not only takes on the role of Carmen, but she also possesses it to lock, stock, and barrel and turns the whole show into something quite exceptional."
She participated in International Festivals such as The International Festival "Va Invita M.Biesu" (1998 – 2013), The "Days of Russian Culture Festival" in Chisinau, Moldova (2004), The 8th International Festival of Performance Art "Bitei" organized by E.Ionescu Theatre (2007), The International Festival "Martishor" (1998-2013), The International Festival "Crizantema de Aur" (2011), The International Festival "Opera Nights" (Hunedoara, Transylvania 2013).
In concert, Vardanean has appeared with the National Philharmonic S.Lunkevici, National TV and Radio Orchestra Rep. of Moldova, Banatul State Philharmonic Orchestra (Romania), Cadenza Productions Company (The  Netherlands), etc. Her Vocal - Symphonic repertoire included Requiem by Verdi, Requiem, Messa C-Dur by Mozart, Stabat Mater by Dvorak, 9th Symphony by Beethoven, Brahms Rhapsody, and Alexander Nevsky by S.Prokofiev and also of such vocal cycles as Five Poems of Mathilde Wesendonk by Wagner, From Jewish Folk Poetry by Shostakovich, Seven Spanish Folk Songs by M.De Faglia, Songs About Dead Children by G. Mahler. In her concert programs, Zarui includes romances and songs of Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Debussy, Ravel, Mahler, Schumann, Schubert, Brahms, Grieg, Strauss, and light popular repertoire.
She always was a welcome guest artist on National Radio and TV. Still now, TV Moldova is broadcasting her recordings, although she immigrated to the US in 2013. However, immigration didn't stop her from continuing her artistic career in Europe. She actively performed in the UK and Ireland as a part of the International Opera Company, UK, until the company closed its doors in 2018.
From that time, Zarui Vardanean became an active music educator. In 2018 Zarui Vardanean established Zara - V Music Studio. The studio provides music education to children and adults across the Northwestern Chicago suburbs. As a leading music educator at Zara - V Music Studio, Zarui Vardanean is passionate about the value of music for all people and is committed to providing every student with comprehensive music education and a path to a lifelong music journey. Zarui believes that music can enrich our life with happiness and success. That is why her motto is:
                                                                                           Success on Stage!
